Hello sexies,
Just thought I’d drop in with a couple of updates for your hungry hearts. First, we’re happy to announce that mixing will commence this week at Studio Litho for our forthcoming album, Hello Old Cloud. After nearly eight months of dressing up these songs in every way imaginable, the prospect of making a tasty, tidy dish out of the sprawling, beautiful melange of ingredients we’ve assembled is tremendously exciting (and a little daunting). Making this record has been a challenging, and ultimately affirming, experience, and I think I speak for us all when I say that we cannot wait for you to hear it. We master mid-June, and then we’ve just got to decide how to get it into your hands.
In the meantime, keep an eye on the Studio Journal for a glimpse into the mixing process, complete with photos of our (planned) massive BBQ on Litho’s back porch and Porter’s wicked jumpshot.
A smattering of summer tour dates have also been posted on the Shows page, with more to come. Keep an eye out for shows in Portland, Eugene, Salt Lake City, Vancouver, and beyond…
