Our debut studio album, lovingly recorded November 2006-June 2007 at Seattle’s spacious Studio Litho (with supplemental guerilla missions into Chroma Sound and the apocryphal Apt. Response) with producer/engineer Shawn Simmons. The result? Eleven certified twilit pop gems for your listening pleasure, featuring contributions from our esteemed pals Paul Hiraga (Downpilot), Eyvind Kang (Blonde Redhead, Laura Veirs), Keith Lowe (Bill Frisell, Fiona Apple), and many other fine folks! Starboard Meets the Sound EP (CD-R)

In my opinion, this stands as Red Jacket Mine’s first “real” record. Recorded mostly-live in the expansive East Wing of Emerald City Guitars in downtown Seattle, Washington with the Reverend Eric Daw at the helm, it’s roomy, atmospheric, tremolo-soaked, and a little dark, and notably features an early version of Hello, Old Cloud’s “22 Rose Petal Place.” Out of print, sadly, but feel free to sample the mp3s below for a taste!
