holiday greetings, updates

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone…just a few things to pass on:

Our next show will take place next Tuesday, November 29 at Fremont’s Nectar Lounge. We’ll be opening for Sweet Jesus. Music starts at 9pm, we play first, and there’s no cover charge. Hope to see you there.

After that, we’re playing on Monday, December 5 at Chop Suey on Capitol Hill. We’re playing first that night, too, opening for The Dirty Slippers, our good friends Amateur Radio Operator, and The Upper Hand. Music starts at 8pm, and the cover charge is $6. Come early and stay late.

After that, I’ve got a solo show at an all-ages venue called the SS Marie Antoinette on Friday, December 9. You can read all about that on the Shows page. You can view the awesome poster R. Trager designed for this show by clicking here.

Looking ahead, we’ve got a show on Tuesday, December 20 at Fremont’s ToST Lounge, and thanks to Matt at NadaMucho.com, we’ve just booked a highly-anticipated show on Saturday, January 28 at the Mars Bar with Vancouver, BC’s Octoberman and local legend Robert Roth. We’re very excited about it. Thanks, Matt!

Phew…I think that’s it for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

site updates, show news

Hello.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to last night’s show at the J&M CafĂ© and Cardroom. I’ve added some pictures taken at the show to the Photos section, and the setlist and trivial reflections to the Past Shows page.

In other site news, I’ve updated the “Recent Favorites” section of the Favorites page to reflect my recent four-amazing-shows-in-two-weeks experience. I’ve also added an mp3 of “For a Rainbow” to the Music page. It’s a favorite from The Daylight Moon that’s managed to stick around in the live sets, and it’s also one of the earliest instances of Mr. Andy Salzman’s ongoing percussive contributions to Red Jacket Mine.

Finally, it looks like the 11/27 show at Chop Suey with The Plains has been postponed. Keep an eye on the Shows page for the most recent developments regarding this show and others. Until then, see you on Tuesday, November 29 at Fremont’s Nectar Lounge, where we’ll be opening up for a new band called Sweet Jesus. There’s no cover, and no excuse not to come out. We go on at 9pm.
